Kara Guerriero lends uniquely qualified leadership to the nation’s mental health system, providing alliance and business development, non-profit/association management, community engagement, and leadership development to organizations across the healthcare sector — community mental health and addiction centers, state/federal government agencies, non-profits, industry, hospitals and health systems, and community organizations.
As Implementation and Sustainability Consultant for NorthRock, Guerriero expands adoption and operationalizes replication of their exclusive pharmacy solution, a missing piece in many community mental health centers that can bring new revenue despite the overall scarcity of new capital.
Prior to founding INCITE Consulting Solutions, Guerriero was Vice President, Membership and Corporate Relations, at the National Council for Behavioral Health, the nation’s leading voice on mental health and addictions treatment. She drove membership and revenue growth, as well as developed and maintained corporate partnerships.
She also served as Regional Manager, for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) overseeing the development and growth of the national NAMIWALKS program, and as NAMI WALKS Manager and Director of Affiliate Development at NAMI Massachusetts where she led grassroots organizing efforts, managed fundraising, and engaged board development. Guerriero now serves as board secretary for NAMI Charlotte.
Guerriero earned a Master in Public Health from the Boston University School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts from Wheaton College in Illinois.
